ROME
Rome is an amazing metropolitan center with so much to see and experience. There are the sights of Ancient Rome, including the ruins of the Roman Forum, the Pantheon, and of course the Coliseum. Christian Rome will inspire us with visits to the Vatican, the Sistine Chapel, and a significant number of churches that contain priceless works of art. Rome’s piazzas are wonderful places of beauty, with fountains, artisans, high fashion clothing, cafes, and gelato ice cream shops.

ASSISI
Located in the Region of Umbria, Assisi is a miniature medieval city that stands frozen in time. As the home of St. Francis, many visitors experience Assisi as a place of pilgrimage, peace, and spirituality. It is also famous for its beautiful ceramic works and Umbrian olive oil. Much of Assisi appears unchanged since the thirteenth century.

FLORENCE
Welcome to the heart of the Italian Renaissance! As the home of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, Dante Alighieri, Galileo and so many others, Florence will inspire us through her masterpieces. Florence is well known for its goldsmiths, jewelry, leather goods, museums, outdoor markets, and exceptional cuisine. Enjoy a day trip in Tuscany by visiting the neighboring cities of Siena and San Gimignano, complete with wine tasting along the way.

POSITANO
Many people experience Positano as being Paradise su terra, or “Paradise on Earth.” The trip down the famed Amalfi coast is a serpentine highway that provides magnificent cliff-side views of the Tyrranian Sea. Positano is a fashionable beachside resort with easy access to the Island of Capri. Visit the neighboring city of Amalfi by boat and take a day trip to the ruins of Pompeii. With excellent seafood and beaches for relaxation, the Amalfi Coast is a world unto itself.

VENICE
Venice has been called La Serenissima or “the most serene,” a wonderful way to describe this magical city built upon water. The Grand Canal winds its way through palaces constructed between the 12th and 18th centuries. Piazza San Marco is the center stage for Venetian life and is crowned by St. Mark’s Basilica, one of the finest examples of Byzantine architecture.
